There are many reasons required for the subdivision of land in the wheatbelt.
TOWN
Within the townships the process of Subdivision is the same as in the Metropolitan Area.
Some of the Wheatbelt councils are encouraging subdivision of the lots to entice new people and to help grow the towns. Many of the older lots are on large 1000m2 blocks which make it perfect for subdivision.

RURAL LAND
Subdivision of rural land follows the same process as a subdivision in the town site.
The survey of the land requires a special skill though. Many of the original survey marks have not been replaced or touched since they were placed around the 1900’s. Mark Spencer has been working in the Wheat Belt for the last ten years and has gained valuable experience in understanding and finding the marks that were placed over one hundred years ago.
